Warriors Perform At The Sears Tower In Chicago…

On their annual band trip, the Wausau West Symphonic Band performed at the prestigious Sears Tower in downtown Chicago after submitting a DVD of their performance for review! With the towering skyscrapers as the backdrop to their performance area, the student musicians peaked in their afternoon performance! The Wausau School District is extremely fortunate to have a very supportive administration evident by our Superintendent's presence at the band's performance.

Based on the students' professionalism and quality of performance, the Wausau Marching Warriors are selected to participate in the Memorial Day Parade in New York City in the upcoming years. The band students also participated in sight-seeing activities while in Chicago and attended the hit Broadway show, "Wicked."
