Balance – about 2,000 What do we with the money?
A. Reoccurring projects and activities. (Do we have a list started?)
B. What do we want as our carry over amount?

• One account for Band = Directors Fund + Booster Fund
• New instruments or lessons
• Ellen will help with record keeping and set up so it is ready for Fall 2009 – This will combine Director and Booster so there is a more comprehensive check and balance system for income and expenditures

Scholarships
What is the biggest need? Bari Sax? How much was spent on lessons?
o Reinvest for shirts to sell
o How much do those decals cost for the vehicles?
o Matching Jazz Band shirts
o Leave $500 - Spend $1,500 - Nick’s choice
4. Fundraiser’s Report - Patti
A. Suckers are done
B. Raffle tickets at Pop Concert – last sale
C. Walmart - $167, $143 from tickets – rest are donations
D. Garage Sale has been canceled
5. Current Business
A. Awards night results. -
• Went good
• Ask for kids participation in the “fun awards”
B. Florida trip plans cancelled.
• 20 were dedicated
• Weekend trip -
o Maybe Great America over Halloween
o Maybe Valley Fair – Renaisance Festival
C. Uniform status
• Leave for future
• Talk to students about Windbreaker
• Survey kids for Marching Band preferences in fall
6. New Business
A. Amendment. Please approve wording below:
Section 10.01: Amendment to Section 9.03. Individuals can use student account funds toward any expenses related to band activities including but not limited to items such as lessons, reeds, or valve oil. (Band members can use their student account funds for any expense related to band activities
B. Family band camp night (possibly pizza?). July 27, 28 and 29th
- All day with lunch
- School Forest or Park somewhere - Maybe Memorial park for 2 hours
C. Fall picnic date? No
D. Next meeting? June 9th meeting
E. Thank you for a very good year! - tabled till next meeting.

June 12 in 400 block – opening for the Brewins – movie night
Summer lessons by Eric Meyer
Students Test - Playing & critiqued by each other
Any music not turned in cost $2 – will be turned in to the business office
400 posters for concert
John Muir lessons are done next week
All City Band concert next November
UWSP has no band and we will play for a football game – October 10 1:00 PM
