1. Call to Order

B. Uniform stayed the same
C. Profits were recorded from the raffle and suckers
4. Fundraiser’s Report - Patti
2000 raffle tickets printed
200 sold at Holiday concerts which covered expenses
Students are now selling packets = due on the 22nd
Items were donated –
Fundraising will cover other Band stuff even though the trip was cancelled
Could students use thier money for lessons? What do we do for trips then?
Texas Roadhouse night is March 2nd – 10% of food check goes to Band (need the coupon to get the discount)
Bands will be there…. more at February meeting
Suckers – we are on 2nd order –
Spring Fundraiser – Cheesecakes – need a chairperson for this
Play-a-thon – this was cancelled (bad timing)
Battle of the Bands is February 3rd
5. Old Business 30 minutes
A. Alumni letter status (homecoming football) – Kathy
** publish in the sports programs and News & Views
** Could we put on the Wausau West web page?
** Could we mail to area business? – Human Resources?
B. Honor band status (1/31) – Todd
$5.00 per kid for lunch
Lee’s Famous Recipe is catering
C. Planning for future trips. Bulletin board sign-up. – Jon
Hopefully kids will put forth some ideas and then we can research for costs
D. College Music Scholarship. – Tony
E. Are we raising the money or are we taking this out of our General fund? Amount? Maybe determine every year? For students who are pursuing a music career? Suggestion of $100.00
E. Lock In Info – Student advisory board responsibility.
Maybe February 6th or 13th
F. JM Mentor status – starts next week.
* Mentor & mentees will have small concert
Would the paper be interested in publishing this info?
6. New Business 10 minutes
A. WEBB Info (uniforms, band numbers, UW band)

B. Wausau School Foundation – possible grant for Smart Music?
7. Directors Notes – 70 minutes
