Meet The Director…

The 2010-2011 school year will be Mrs. Charlene Kennebeck first year at Wausau West High School. At Wausau West High School, Mrs. Kennebeck conducts the Symphonic Band, Pep Band, Jazz Ensemble. Charlene also teaches lessons to a variety of instruments during the student’s unstructured time.

Under her direction, the Wausau Symphonic Band has appeared at the Grand Theater in Wausau, and worked with guest conductors Dr. John Climer - UW-Milwaukee, Roger Bloomers, and Jeffrey Erickson. The Wausau West Band Program will be initiating specialized private lessons on-site with master teachers during the school day in the fall of 2008. In addition, Wausau West hosted the 1st Annual Central Wisconsin High School Honor Band Festival in the spring of 2008.
